22Last season:nd(League 1) – It was a disappointing season for Crawley last year as they were relegated on the final day into League 2. They had the worst defence in the league conceding 79 goals in the campaign including two 5-0 defeats to Doncaster and Walsall. Their season started relatively well winning the first two games however four straight defeats after that and then went three months without a win between the 21stOctober and the 31stJanuary.
Izale McLeod – he scored twenty goals last season as well as getting seven yellows and a red card. Despite his efforts in front of goal it was not enough to secure the clubs safety in the division. During his career he has had spells at Derby County, MK Dons, Charlton and Portsmouth and made a single substitute appearance for the England U21’s in 2006 when he came on to face Norway at the Madejski Stadium in Reading.Key Player:

Prediction:At the time of writing Crawley have only eleven players registered in their squad and they do not have a goalkeeper. Whilst it is safe to assume they will bring in the players they require for a squad, they will not have had the time in pre-season to gel properly as a team and because of this I believe they will struggle in the first few games of the season but I do not believe that they will be dragged into a relegation battle as they will eventually find their feet in the league and begin to pick up points against some of the weaker opposition.
