Work is still on going behind the scenes as Terry Butcher looks to bring in more players as well as announce members of his backroom staff. Further new signings are expected to arrive at Rodney Parade later this week, with the possibility of one deal being concluded tomorrow.
Talks also continue between the club and several potential new members of Terry Butcher's backroom staff. Once details are confirmed we'll report the news here on the Official Website.
The deadline for applications for the Academy Manager role at Newport County passed last Friday. The applications are now being processed and interviews with a shortlisted selection of candidates will commence shortly. The club hope to appoint a General Manager in the near future, with the interview process now complete.
Meanwhile, Newport County can confirm the departure of physio Adam Roche. The board of directors would like to thank Adam for his hard work and dedication during his time with the club, and everyone at Newport County AFC wish him well for the future.
