TRAVEL INFO: Brackley Town

6 November 2015

Fans travelling to Sunday’s FA Cup tie against Brackley should be aware of the following road closures and plan their journey accordingly…

fixtureSunday'swill coincide with the Annual Remembrance Parade and Service in BrackleyTown centre, with the local councilenforcingroad closures between 2pm-4pm.

The planned road closures will stop traffic at the Buckingham Road traffic lights from proceeding south down the length of Brackley High Street. Traffic will also be stopped from proceeding north up the High Street from Bridge Street/Banbury Road junction. It will also include the Market Place car park and slip road east of the Piazza (behind the Town Hall).

After discussions with the local council and Brackley Town FC, the suggested routefor County fans isto enter Brackley via the A43 from both M1 J15a and M40 J10.

Both Brackley Town FC and Newport County AFC ask fans making their own way to the to avoid parking along the High Street in Brackley, or in the Market Placeduring the day, as vehicles parked in those areasmay cause disruptions to the Annual Remembrance Day Parade.

With the game being held on Remembrance Sunday both clubs will hold a minutes silence ahead of kick off on Sunday to commemorate the day.

We thank fans in advance for assisting us in this matter.
