County in the Community are running an Open Evening for people to find out more about our College Programme.

The Open Evening will take place at the Lecture Theatre at Llanwern High School at 5pm on Monday 14th March.

The College Programme is delivered over a two-year period, in which each student would study BTEC Level 3 Extended Diploma in Sport, which is worth up to three A-Levels and consists of 19 separate modules in relation to the core elements of sporting performance and excellence such as Anatomy, Physiology, Psychology, Coaching, Analysis and Technical and Tactical Development.

The boys will receive regular Futsal and Football coaching which is delivered by County in the Community staff, as well as representing Newport County AFC in the FLT Futsal League, South West Counties League and Welsh cup competitions. Alongside this each student has the chance to access additional qualifications as well as volunteering opportunities with County in the Community.
