The Exiles add to their attacking options with the signing of John-Christophe Ayina…
The unattached forward signs for the Exiles until the end of the season.
John-Christophe has previously been on the books at Paris Saint-Germain and has had spells playing in Spain with both Getafe and Racing Santander.
Following a trial with Rochdale, John signed for the League One outfit on non-contract terms back in November, before becoming a free agent earlier this month.
Speaking after the paperwork had been finalised, Manager Warren Feeney said, “John has got a fantastic CV.”
“He has spent the majority of his career playing abroad and he will bring great energy to the team.”
“There are a lot of big games between now and the end of the season, so we need the whole squad to be together and focused on the challenge ahead.”
John-Christophe will be eligible to make his debut for the Exiles in Saturday’s Sky Bet League Two clash with Dagenham and Redbridge at Rodney Parade, subject to the Club receiving international clearance.
