The winger looks back on Tuesday night's draw against Hartlepool United.
The Exiles followed up Saturday's 3-0 victory over Portsmouth with a 0-0 draw at home to Hartlepool United.
With few chances throughout the game. Alex Rodman told the press that a draw was a fair result.
"A point is always good in the position that we are in," said the winger.
"We didn't get beat, which was important and we picked up another clean sheet and now we can look ahead to Saturday."
"We always fancy ourselves at home, in fact we always fancy ourselves heading into any game we play in, but it was tough out there on Tuesday night."
"Both teams had a couple of chances on the night, but I think a draw was a fair result."
After a recent positive run of form at home, the midfielder revealed that he enjoys playing in front of the lively home crowd and praised the squad's ability to grind out results at home.
"I enjoy playing at home and I like the atmosphere at Rodney Parade."
"We don't want to make the pitch an excuse, because it is the same for both teams."
"We certainly aren't a long-ball team and we do like to get the ball down and play some good football, which is sometimes easier on pitches where there is more grass on the field, but we have been grinding out performances at home and have been picking up some good results in recent weeks."
After Tuesday night's game, local rivals Bristol Rovers are next up a Rodney Parade this coming Saturday. The winger revealed he is looking forward to playing a part in the derby, after a good result against Rovers earlier in the season.
"We had a really good result at Bristol Rovers earlier in the season and hopefully we can have a big crowd here at Rodney Parade for Saturday's game."
"We will certainly approach the game full of confidence and the game gives us the opportunity to pick up another three points that will take us closer to our goal of safety."
"I think Warren, Toddy and Flynny are doing a great job and that is being shown by some fantastic results on the pitch and that bodes really well for next season."
