The Club need your help to promote and expand the visibility of the Club across the City of Newport and beyond!
As a working commitment to improving the Club's visibility across the City and beyond, we are launching a 'Print a Poster' campaign to advertise future home games.
On-going discussions with our fan base have revealed that currently there is a concern regarding the lack of visibility of the Club in and around the City. Working groups with groups of fans have highlighted that a different approach to advertising home games could be explored to attract more people to support the Club at home games.
Today we are launching our first 'Print a Poster' campaign, which is aimed at increasing exposure to the upcoming games and to make a wider audience more aware of when games are taking place at Rodney Parade. In doing so, we are hoping to see a positive increase in attendances at future fixtures at Rodney Parade.
Fans can click HERE to download the poster and then print the poster at home. We are then encouraging fans to place the posters in places of work, public places or anywhere you think that will get the posters noticed by a wide and diverse audience!
Once you have placed your poster on display, we want you to Tweet us a picture of the poster using the Club's Official Hashtag #SupportThePort and the fan who has managed to place their posters in the most weirdest or wonderful place will win a prize of a signed Newport County AFC shirt that will be presented to them at a future home game.
The deadline for entries is Friday 7th October, with the winner being chosen by a selected panel and the prize being presented at our Sky Bet League Two fixture against Plymouth Argyle.
If you have any more ideas regarding fan engagement, please email fanfeedback@newport-county.co.uk.
