NEWPORT COUNTY AFC

The Club are pleased to announce details of the forthcoming local derby against EFL newcomers Forest Green Rovers.

Following the Gloucestershire Club’s recent promotion to the Football League, the EFL have provided the Club with special dispensation in relation to their ground criteria. Consequently, Newport County AFC have been working closely with Forest Green Rovers to provide an increased allocation for County supporters which will include two wheelchair bays and 20 seats for ambulant disabled supporters, as well as 926 uncovered terrace tickets.

The Club would like to thank Forest Green Rovers for their efforts in increasing the away allocation for our supporters, as we seek to take a large County following to the match.

How can I buy my ticket?

Tickets will be available in the Ticket Office at Rodney Parade only (no online sales). There will also be a Priority Booking System in place due to the expected high-demand for tickets for this match. 

Ticket Sales Dates

Thursday 5^th October - 10am- 7pm: Tickets go on sale to all Season Ticket Holders. 

Friday 6^th October – 10am-7pm : Tickets go on sale to all Season Ticket Holders, Trust Members, and Rewards and Benefits Card Holders.  Please note sales are limited to one ticket per Season Ticket Holder, Trust Members, and Rewards and Benefits Card Holders *.

Saturday 7^th October – 10am – 2pm / 5pm-5.30pm Tickets remain on sale for all Season Ticket Holders, Trust Members, and Rewards and Benefits Card Holders.  Please note sales are limited to one ticket per Season Ticket Holder, Trust Members, and Rewards and Benefits Card Holders. *

Thursday 12^th October 2017 - 10am-7pm - Tickets go on general sale, no maximum sales limit applies.

Friday 13^th October – 10am-3pm Tickets remain on general sale; no maximum sales limit applies.

*Supporters may purchase for a friend or family member upon production of suitable proof of membership e.g. Season Ticket Card

Can I purchase tickets on the gate?

No, this is an all-ticket match so you will not be able to purchase on the gate.  The Club advises that supporters who do not have a ticket do not travel.

Can I purchase tickets online?

No, tickets for this match will only be available at the ticket office at the times stated in the “How Can I buy my ticket section”.

I would like one of the 20 seats or two wheelchair bays – how do I purchase one of these?

These tickets will be sold on a first-come-first-served basis in line with the Priority Booking order outlined in the “How can I buy my ticket” section of this article.

You will also need to meet the following criteria set out by Forest Green Rovers:

In order to qualify for a Disabled Ticket and a free carer ticket, supporters must have documentation
proving to be in current receipt of:
1. The medium to high rate Disability Living Allowance (mobility or care component)
2. The Enhanced Rate Personal Independence Payment (PIP)
3. The Severe Disablement Allowance
4. Or a Personal letter from you GP.
Please note that a blue badge is not be considered sufficient proof of disability.

We have a small block of 20 seats which are available for Ambulant Disabled Away supporters. Please be advised that these seats should only be sold to Ambulant Disabled supporters, who meet the criteria listed in [the list above] or who are unable to stand for the duration of the game, for example due to age, event injury or illness.

Prices and Proof of Age

Please read the following information sent to the Club by Forest Green Rovers.  Newport County AFC recommends supporters who’ve purchased a Senior or Young Adult ticket carry ID or proof of age with them:

I’ve lost my ticket – what can I do?

Unfortunately, as Forest Green Rovers Batch Print their tickets, they are unable to reprint tickets.  Lost tickets will not be able to be replaced.

Parking

Supporters who require a parking space near to the stadium are asked to contact FGR’s Reception to pre-book a space. Blue Badge holders are allowed to park onsite for free but must book in advance as we are full for every game.

Any supporters who wish to book a coach parking space or minibus parking space are also strongly encouraged to book in advance.  The main car park at the stadium is fully booked for each game but there is availability at the neighbouring school, within easy walking distance (90m) from the stadium.

- Coach: £20
