fixture news checkatrade trophy

Tomorrow we face Swansea City U23s in the Checkatrade Trophy. This is the second match of the Checkatrade Trophy Group Stages with the Exiles having lost their first match away at Forest Green Rovers. They will also face Cheltenham Town at home later in the campaign.

Group E

As it stands, the Exiles are bottom of the Group having played just one match.  Forest Green Rovers top the group with wins against County and Cheltenham.  Swansea City AFC U23s are second after a 1-0 Victory over Cheltenham Town in the last round.

Win, Lose, or Draw

The winner of a Checkatrade Trophy picks up 3 points towards the table whilst the loser gets no points.  However, if the match ends in a draw the team take one point each and the match goes to penalties.  The penalties are taken in the new ABBA system (i.e. If County took the first penalty, Swansea would take the next two penalties, then County would take the next two penalties) and the winner of the penalty shoot out will pick up a bonus point.

As the Checkatrade Trophy is a Cup Competition, you will not be able to use your Season Ticket to gain entry to the match.  Also, due to an expected smaller crowd, only the Bisley Stand will be open.  There will be no hospitality or 100 Club available for this match.

Ticket Prices are as Follows

Adult - £5.00

Senior (60+) - £5.00

Young Adult (16-21) - £3.00
