About the Match…

Our visitors are Accrington Stanley. Already promoted thanks to a victory against Yeovil last Tuesday, Stanley need just one point at Rodney Parade to secure the League Title.  Manager John Coleman recently won PFA Sky Bet League 2 Manager of the Year.

What’s happening apart from the football?

We Fight Any Claim Marquee - Hosted by Newport City Radio 

As always, the We Fight Any Claim Marquee will be open from midday with Newport City Radio taking on the hosting duties from 5pm.  They will be playing chart music, hosting live interviews with first team players, running competitions and introducing live music from solo artist Alex Ghost.

Can’t get there that early?  Well, there’s no need to miss out on the build-up, you can listen live at www.newportcityradio.org

 

Club Shop

The Club Shop will be open from 10am until kick off for you to pick up all your merchandise, shirts or programmes! We will also be open for 30 minutes after the full-time whistle.

The Programme Shop

Not only is this the best place to purchase your matchday programme, The Programme Shop also boasts matchday programmes dating back over 40 years!

Located between the old Snelling Bar and the Club Shop, the Programme Shop is a little treasure trove of Matchday Programmes and Club badges from over 200 Clubs.  They also stock books, magazines and a whole host of interesting football-related items for you to browse and buy.  All this tucked away in a nook of Rodney Parade!

The Programme Shop will open at 5.30pm and close at kick off but will re-open after the match.

Bucket Collection – Llamau

On Tuesday we welcome Welsh Homelessness-prevention charity Llamau to Rodney Parade.

Llamau’s mission is to eradicate homelessness for young people and vulnerable women in Wales. Founded over 30 years ago to provide homeless teenagers in the Vale of Glamorgan and Cardiff with a safe place to stay, it is Llamau’s belief that no young person or vulnerable woman should ever have to experience homelessness.

The new and improved Half Time Draw is still going strong. Last week’s winner walked away with half the money raised whilst the three runners up took home fantastic prizes such as money off at the Club Shop and two free cinema tickets.

Newport County AFC Welcomes Three Refugee Charities

Newport County AFC are welcoming three Refugee-Aid Charities at tomorrow's match.  The County in the Community team will be holding football matches and activities in the evening and then the refugees will be able to enjoy the football.

These small, local charities support and enable refugees to successfully rebuild their lives in Newport and cheering on the local football team is a part of that.

5.00pm - Disabled Supporters Association arrive to assist supporters.
5.00pm - Programme Shop Opens
5.00pm - Rodney Parade & Maindee School Car Parks open (Car parks close at 6.45pm & 7.00pm respectively)
6.00pm - Hospitality Collections open in the Ticket Office
6.15pm - Hospitality Opens
6.15pm - Programmes and Half Time Draw Tickets on sale around the Stadium
6.15pm - Turnstiles open
6.45pm - Here to Help Volunteers available to assist supporters.
6.45pm - Teams are announced.
7.00pm - Teams come out to warm up.
7.45pm - Kick Off vs Accrington Stanley F.C
8.30pm - Half Time*
8.45pm - Second Half begins*
9.30pm - Full Time*
9.40pm - (Or 10 minutes after full time - whichever is later) Car Park re-opens
