Tickets are just £5 for tomorrow’s match: any age, any ticket, any where in the ground (excl. Hospitality).  With a large number of people expected to purchase tickets on the day, we’re suggesting you arrive early and enjoy all that we have to offer around Rodney Parade including our Pre-Match Family Fan Zone which opens at 1pm.

About the Match…

Our visitors, Crewe Alexandra have been on a steady run of form lately, having picked up 10 points out of a possible 18 since 17th February.  They call themselves the Railwaymen and they on right on track as they continue to edge further and further from the dreaded end-of-season battle against relegation to the non-league.

Great!  We look forward to welcoming you!  Rodney Parade is located right in the heart of the City and there's always plenty to do before and after a game.  We aim to create a fantastic atmosphere throughout the whole ground to allow you to really enjoy your time in Newport.

We Fight Any Claim Marquee - Hosted by Newport City Radio

 

As always, the We Fight Any Claim Marquee will be open from midday with Newport City Radio taking on the hosting duties from 1pm.  They will be playing chart music, hosting live interviews with first team players (commencing 1.45pm), running competitions and introducing live music from Scarlett.

Can’t get there that early?  Well, there’s no need to miss out on the build-up, you can listen live at www.newportcityradio.org

 

The Family Zone

 

The Family Zone is going to be jam-packed this Saturday.  Located both inside the We Fight Any Claim Marquee and out on the Oval.

Inside the Marquee, we have opportunities for your little ones to get creative by designing a County Kit, enjoy some games, watch balloon animals being created and listen to members of the first team talking. 

Outside the marquee, we have a fantastic inflatable assault course for children to enjoy (for a small fee) and to continue our celebration of #WomenAtCounty, we have got coaches from the Newport County AFC Academy overseeing a kick-about.

Do your kids enjoy the Newport County AFC Family Fanzone?  Keep an eye on our website and social media for details on our Family Fun Day taking part on the 7th April.

 

Club Shop

The Club Shop will be open from 10am until kick off for you to pick up all your merchandise, shirts or programmes! We will also be open for 30 minutes after the full-time whistle.

We have some fantastic bargains in our End of Season sale with great savings to be made across all FBT Kit.  And you can get your Newport County AFC Easter Eggs in time for Easter.

The Programme Shop

Not only is this the best place to purchase your matchday programme, The Programme Shop also boasts matchday programmes dating back over 40 years!

Located between the old Snelling Bar and the Club Shop, the Programme Shop is a little treasure trove of Matchday Programmes and Club badges from over 200 Clubs.  They also stock books, magazines and a whole host of interesting football-related items for you to browse and buy.  All this tucked away in a nook of Rodney Parade!

The Programme Shop will open at 5pm and close at kick off but will re-open for an hour after the match.

Bucket Collection – Breast Cancer Awareness

As part of Women at County, we’re using this match to help raise vital funds for one of the most common types of cancer.  We welcome members of the Pontypool Relay For Life committee (part of the Macmillan Cancer Trust) who will be raising money for Breast Cancer Awareness.  Please give generously at the gates!

 Half Time Draw

 

The new and improved Half Time Draw is still going strong. Last week’s winner walked away with half the money raised whilst the three runners up took home fantastic prizes such as money off at the Club Shop and two free cinema tickets.

Half Time Celebrations

We will have interviews with Jayne Bryant AM and County in the Community Volunteer Emily Edwards and also be joined by Wales International Women’s Manager Jayne Ludlow.  Jayne will also be our guest speaker in Hospitality.

Finally, we are celebrating just five of the fantastic success stories from the FAW Trust’s Girls Programme.  The girls will be doing a lap of honour so please make sure you cheer them!

Midday - Marquee opens

Midday - Disabled Supporters Association arrive to assist supporters.

12.30pm - Rodney Parade & Maindee School Car Parks open (Car parks close at 2.00pm & 2.15pm respectively)

1.00pm – Newport City Radio Fanzone Opens.

1.00pm – Junior Fanzone Opens

1.30pm - Hospitality opens

1.30pm - Programmes and Half Time Draw Tickets on sale

1.30pm - Turnstiles open

2.00pm - Here to Help Volunteers available to assist supporters.

2.00pm - Teams are announced.

2.15pm - Teams come out to warm up.

3.00pm - Kick Off vs Crewe Alex

3.45pm - Half Time*

4.00pm - Second Half begins*

4.45pm - Full Time*

5.30pm - Ticket Office and Club Shop closes

* Times are not exact as the referee can award a different length of added time at the end of each half.

We are expecting a large walk up so please arrive early
there’s plenty to enjoy before kick-off.
