Following on from our celebration of the women who help support the Club on International Women’s Day, we have decided to dedicate Saturday’s match to further celebrate the role of women at Newport County AFC and throughout football and the world. As part of these celebrations, our Bisley Suite Guest Speaker will be with Wales International Women’s Manager Jayne Ludlow. Jayne will be discussing the current successes of her International side as well as answering questions on women in football.

County in the Community are also celebrating women in football and have invited 5 of the stand out performers from the FAW Trust Girls programme to enjoy Hospitality. The girls will also be doing a lap of honour at half time so keep an eye out for that.

IN THE FANZONE
Newport City Radio will be hosting their NCRWarmUp from midday until kick off with special guest live performer Scarlett. There will also be an interview with members of the first team squad and you can buy drinks from the bar and enjoy sweet snacks and family-friendly entertainment from our friends from JP Entertainments. Outside, women from the University of South Wales Ladies Team will be over seeing a kick about and penalty shoot out on the oval (weather permitting) so there’s plenty to look forward to!
