COMMUNITY | County join forces with St Julians Primary to help a struggling Ugandan School

Newport County AFC are delighted to come together with local Primary School St Julians to donate Macron and FBT kit to a struggling Ugandan School.

Deputy headteacher of St Julians Mr Luke Mansfield reached out to both the Dragons and Newport County AFC a few weeks ago looking to collate several items of sports equipment for his trip to a Ugandan school. That is when County's very own Community Development Officer Norman Parselle got involved!

Amassing several items of kit from seasons gone by, along with some footballs perfect for Mr. Mansfield trip to Uganda this coming half-term, Norman Parselle, the Community team and Newport County AFC were delighted to donate these items to those in Uganda so they too can enjoy the many benefits of playing football. 

Safe travels to Mr. Mansfield and the rest of the St Julians Primary School who are making the trip to Uganda. We hope that our equipment is recieved well and look forward to seeing the positive impact it will have!
