It promises to be a busy week at Newport County AFC as we prepare for our season opener at Sutton United this Saturday...
On Monday, we have confirmed our squad numbers for the upcoming season as well as publishing our official squad photo.
Also today, tickets for our first home game of the season against Walsall have gone on sale, and we have announced that mascot packages for 2022-23 are now available.
On Tuesday, we will hear from club captain Matt Dolan as part of our season preview content and Wednesday will see our open training session for Clwb Spytty members. If you can't be there on the 27th though, then we'll be on hand to provide coverage across our social channels later on in theday.
Also on Wednesday, our home kit for 2022-23 will officially hit the shelves at the official club shop while Thursday will see the launch of our away kit and that too will go on sale in store on Thursday.
Thursday will also be the day we publish an article on all of the community work our fan-owned club have been involved in over the off-season, such as our personal delivery of season tickets recently.
Friday will then be focused on the big event of the week: our season opener at Sutton.
Manager James Rowberry and a member of the playing staff will have their media duties in the morning for the first time this season and there will be further build up to the season's curtain raiser throughout the day, including some behind-the-scenes coverage of this week's training.
