It has now been confirmed that the Under-21 side of Premier League Southampton will join us in our EFL Trophy group for the 2022-23 season.
We had already been placed with Exeter City and Forest Green Rovers in Group F of the EFL Trophy with now Southampton U21s drawn as the invited Premier League side to join us.
It has not yet been decided what games will be played where, however we will definitely face Southampton U21s as one of our home fixtures.
