Newport County AFC is delighted to announce that Seren Fach Nursery has chosen to renew its investment in the club for the 2022/2023 season.
Seren Fach Nursery is a family run business run with families in mind. The purpose built architect designed centre creates an environment that focuses on the unique needs of children and their parents. Highly acclaimed nursery educator Margaret McMillan said “The best classroom and the richest cupboard is roofed only by the sky”, maintaining that children need outdoor space as much as food and air. This ethos is reflected in the design of our nursery, enabling the children to move freely between the classrooms and our extensive outdoor learning areas extending to 1/3 of an acre. We use learning and teaching strategies which foster and develop confidence and self esteem.
The nursery is managed under the daily supervision of the principals Nicola Davison and Victoria Raymond who have spent their entire careers in the provision of high quality childcare.
We offer a wide range of services including Nursery, Wrap Around Care, Breakfast, After School and Holiday Club. Seren Fach Nursery is set in the heart of the village of Ponthir in an idyllic location adjacent to the local primary school, village cricket pitch and playing fields.
Seren Fach Nursery managing director Peter Board is a lifelong County supporter and former secretary of the clubs Lifeline Society. At Seren Fach we believe that supporting your local team through thick and thin is a great way of teaching the children the value of loyalty.
Seren Fach will feature on the back of the academy kit. In addition to further increasing their exposure through the investment in match day and match ball sponsorship, program advertising, player sponsorship, as well as LED advertising throughout the Sky Bet League season.
Matthew Owen, Commercial Manager at Newport County AFC said “Seren Fach is a great example of a successful business based in the heart of the community that have consistently shown their support to the club even during uncertain times. Having shown more than a decade of commitment to the club I am immensely grateful to Peter and the whole of the Seren Fach team for their support and I look forward to working with them for the forthcoming season.
