Nathan Wood has joined Cork City on a short-term loan, subject to league and international clearance.
Wood joined the Exiles from Penybont FC in the summer 2023 and will now join the Rebel Army on loan until the summer.
The 26-year-old has made 18 appearances for Newport this season, scoring his first professional goal against Cheltenham Town in the Bristol Street Motors Trophy, which saw Newport emerge 2-0 victors in the clash at the Completely Suzuki Stadium.
