Ciaran Brennan recognised as PFA Community Champion for 2025-26

Newport County defender Ciaran Brennan has been named the County in the Community PFA Community Champion for the 2025-26 season.

The award recognises Brennan’s outstanding contribution off the pitch, highlighting his dedication to supporting local initiatives and engaging with the wider community throughout the campaign.

PFA CEO Maheta Molango visited the club’s training ground to present the award, marking Brennan’s impact across a range of community programmes delivered in partnership with County in the Community.

A Newport County spokesperson said:

County in the Community and club ambassador Mark O'Brien also praised Brennan’s efforts:
