Newport County was delighted to welcome Sky Sports to Rodney Parade for the launch of County in the Community’s new Memories Group.
The initiative, aimed at supporters and former players aged 55 and over, provides a welcoming space for people to come together each month to share stories, reconnect with old friends, and celebrate everything Newport County.
The first session, held at Rodney Parade, saw fans and ex-players reminiscing about their favourite matches, memorable goals, and what the club means to them. The group is designed to support social connections within the community, while also highlighting the unique bond between County and its supporters across generations.
Sky Sports were on hand to capture the launch and shine a light on the fantastic work being delivered by County in the Community.
The club is proud to support this initiative and looks forward to the next event being held on Wednesday 10th September at Rodney Parade between 1pm and 3pm.
