The Exiles are back on the road this evening with a trip to face Salford City at the Peninsula Stadium in Sky Bet League Two.

By Train
Thanks to Salford’s proximity to Manchester city centre, there are strong national rail links into both Manchester Piccadilly and Manchester Victoria, with onward travel options to the Peninsula Stadium.
From Manchester Piccadilly
Take the X43 bus from Chorlton Street (Stop EZ). Alight near the junction between A56 Bury New Road and Moor Lane, then walk down Moor Lane to the stadium.
Approximate journey time: 20 minutes.
Midweek return services depart around 21:27 and 22:27, terminating at Shudehill.
From Manchester Victoria / Shudehill
Service 93 runs to Salford Sports Village or the junction of Moor Lane and Kersal Road. From there, walk up Moor Lane to the ground.
Approximate journey time: 30 minutes.
Midweek return services run at approximately 21:23, 22:23 and 23:23.
Services 97/98/99 also stop near the junction of A56 Bury New Road and Moor Lane.
Midweek return services run at approximately 21:38, 22:38 and 23:38.
The nearest railway station is Salford Crescent, though it has no direct connection to the ground. Crumpsall is the closest tram stop, around 1.7 miles away.
Taxis are readily available in Manchester city centre, with a typical fare of £10 to £15 each way for up to four passengers.
By Car & Parking
There is no on-site parking available for supporters at the Peninsula Stadium.
Parking restrictions are in place around the ground and are enforced by Salford City Council. Blue Badge holders may park within the restricted zone for up to three hours, in line with badge conditions.
There are streets outside the restricted zone, but supporters are urged to park responsibly and consider local residents and businesses.
Away Section
Visiting supporters will be directed to the designated away areas via Moor Lane. Stewards will be on hand to guide fans to the correct turnstiles.
Turnstiles open at 18:15 for this evening’s midweek fixture. Kick-off is at 19:45.
Food & Drink
The Peninsula Stadium is a cashless venue, so card payments only at all kiosks.
Away supporters have access to two kiosks within the away fanzone:
- Babs’ Café serving burgers, hot dogs, pies, chips, nuggets, soup, hot and cold drinks
- A second kiosk offering draught Angelo Poretti, bottles of Somersby and Carlsberg, Guinness, wine and spirits in cans, plus pies and confectionery
Please note all canned drinks will be decanted into plastic cups, and alcohol cannot be consumed in view of the pitch.
