Newport County make the long journey north on Tuesday evening as Hayden Mullins' side travel to AIG Stadium to face Salford City in the second away fixture of the 2026/27 Sky Bet League Two campaign.
The Exiles will be looking to make it another positive trip on the road, with kick-off scheduled for 7:45pm.

GETTING THERE
BY CAR
The journey from Rodney Parade to AIG Stadium is approximately 184 miles and generally takes around three-and-a-half to four hours by car, depending on traffic and road conditions.
From Newport, supporters should join the M4, before connecting with the M5 and M6 northbound towards Greater Manchester. From the M6, follow signs towards Salford and then continue locally towards Kersal and Moor Lane.
Supporters are advised to allow additional time for potential congestion, particularly on the M6 and around Greater Manchester. Planning the route in advance is recommended, especially with a 7:45pm kick-off.
There is no on-site parking available for supporters at AIG Stadium. Parking restrictions are in operation in the surrounding area, so supporters should park responsibly and respect local residents and businesses.
BY TRAIN
Supporters travelling by rail can travel into Manchester Piccadilly or Manchester Victoria, with onward public transport available towards AIG Stadium.
From Manchester city centre, a number of bus services operate towards the Kersal and Moor Lane areas. Supporters should check the latest service information before travelling, particularly for services returning to the city centre after the match.
The nearest railway station is Salford Crescent, while Crumpsall is the closest Metrolink tram stop, approximately 1.7 miles from the stadium.
BY TAXI
Taxis are available from Manchester city centre, with the journey to AIG Stadium generally taking around 20–30 minutes, depending on traffic.
For supporters travelling in groups, a taxi may provide a convenient option, although supporters should be aware that journey times and fares can increase during busy periods.
DISABLED SUPPORTERS
Blue Badge holders should check the latest Salford City guidance regarding parking and accessibility before travelling.
Supporters requiring accessible facilities or assistance on matchday are advised to contact Salford City ahead of the fixture to ensure the appropriate arrangements are in place.
GETTING TO THE AWAY END
Newport County supporters will be accommodated within the designated away section at AIG Stadium.
Upon arrival, supporters should follow signage and directions from stewards towards the away turnstiles. Supporters are advised to arrive in good time to allow for entry procedures and any necessary security checks.
Flags are permitted subject to fire safety regulations and must not contain offensive messaging.
Supporters are asked to follow steward instructions regarding flag placement upon arrival.
Away supporters have previously been accommodated in the East Stand terrace, with some seating also available in the North stand.

AIG Stadium is located in the Kersal area of Salford, within a predominantly residential neighbourhood.
Supporters are reminded to respect local residents when arriving at and leaving the stadium, particularly when parking and travelling through surrounding residential streets.
For those arriving in Salford or Manchester earlier in the day, Manchester city centre provides a wide range of food, drink and entertainment options before making the journey towards the stadium.
Supporters should allow plenty of time to make their way to Moor Lane ahead of kick-off.
