Newport County has confirmed its Hall of Fame raffle has been extended, with supporters now having more time to enter and the chance to win an enhanced prize package ahead of next month’s event at the Celtic Manor Resort.

The black-tie evening, taking place on Sunday, May 3, will celebrate past and present Newport County legends, with more than 350 guests expected to attend in the Caernarfon Suite.

As part of the build-up, the club launched a raffle offering supporters the opportunity to attend the prestigious event – and the top prize has now been significantly upgraded.

First place will now receive a pair of tickets to the Hall of Fame event, worth £260, along with a signed Christian Fuchs Newport County shirt and player sponsorship for the 2024-25 season.

Second place will receive a 50 per cent discount on a pair of tickets, valued at £130.

Entries are available for £2, with tickets accessible via the club’s official channels.

The raffle has now been extended and will close on Sunday, April 26, with the draw set to take place on Monday, April 27.

The Hall of Fame event itself promises to be a memorable evening, with media personality and charity advocate Calum Best confirmed as a special guest.

Best, the son of football icon George Best, will take part in an exclusive Q&A session, sharing insights from his experiences in football and his work beyond the game.

A number of Newport County legends will also be honoured on the night, recognising their contributions across different eras of the club’s history.

Among those set to be celebrated are Allen Wood, John Aldridge, Colin Addison, Padraig Amond, Mark Kendall, Scot Bennett, Tim Harris, Len Ashurst, Graham Rogers and Gary Warren.

Proceedings will get under way at 6.30pm, with evening sponsors gaining access from 5.30pm for an exclusive pre-event reception.

The event will feature live entertainment, guest speakers and a celebration of those who have played a key role in shaping Newport County’s story.

Tickets for the Hall of Fame event remain available, with supporters encouraged to secure their place for what promises to be a special night.
