Newport singer-songwriter and lifelong Newport County supporter Jack Perrett will be performing live in the East Stand Lounge tomorrow, providing the pre-match entertainment ahead of the Exiles’ Sky Bet League Two fixture against Colchester United.
A proud Newport local and County season ticket holder, Jack is one of our own, making his appearance at Rodney Parade a special occasion for supporters to enjoy before kick-off.
Jack has gained wider recognition for his musical talent, most recently featuring in the new Oasis: Don’t Look Back in Anger documentary after being spotted busking on the streets of Cardiff ahead of the band’s reunion concert last year. He has also featured on BBC Radio, further showcasing his talent to a wider audience.
Celebrating his Newport roots, Jack has also created his own version of Blur’s iconic song Parklife, reimagined as Portlife in tribute to the city.
The East Stand Lounge Bar will open from 1:30pm, with all ticket holders welcome to enjoy the live music and pre-match atmosphere ahead of kick-off. Jack’s performance will begin at 1:45pm.
Supporters seated in the Candleston Stand will be escorted back to their seats at 2:45pm, ready for kick-off.
Make sure to arrive early and join us in the East Stand Lounge for an afternoon of live music and football at Rodney Parade.
