Newport County mascot packages for our August and September home fixtures are now on sale, giving young supporters the chance to enjoy a matchday experience they will never forget.
Mascot packages are available for children aged five to 14, with spaces available for the following fixtures:
- Newport County v Tranmere Rovers | Saturday, August 29
- Newport County v Fleetwood Town | Saturday, September 12
- Newport County v Grimsby Town | Saturday, September 26
Spaces are limited, so supporters are encouraged to complete the booking form to secure their place.
What’s included?
The mascot package is £75 per child, or £60 for children whose accompanying parent or carer is a season ticket holder.
Each mascot will receive:
- A match ticket for the game
- A free ticket for one accompanying parent or carer
- The chance to meet Newport County players as they arrive
- Photos and autograph opportunities with the players
- The opportunity to lead the teams onto the pitch
- A mascot certificate and photograph
- The chance to meet Spytty the Dog
- Photos taken by the club's photographers, sent to parents after the match
- A voucher for a discounted Newport County home, away or third shirt
- Their name read out over the PA before kick-off
- Their picture shown on the Rodney Parade big screen during the game
One accompanying parent or carer must attend with the mascot and will be responsible for the safeguarding and support of their child throughout the experience.
Up to four additional adults or children can be added to the booking at full price.
The matchday experience
Mascots and their accompanying parent or carer will meet a club representative in the marquee before being taken to the area outside the changing rooms to welcome the players as they arrive.
There will be opportunities for photographs and autographs before the mascots take their place alongside the players for the pre-match walk-out.
Mascots and their accompanying parent or carer will then take their seats in the Hazel Stand for the match, alongside any additional tickets purchased as part of the booking.
Season ticket holders who are part of a mascot booking will be seated in the designated mascot area and will not be able to transfer to their usual season ticket seat for that fixture.
Mascot requirements
Mascots must wear a Newport County shirt or a shirt representing a local junior football club.
Shirts from other professional football clubs, such as Arsenal or Chelsea, cannot be worn as part of the mascot experience.
