Newport County welcome Italian giants AS Roma to Rodney Parade tonight for a historic pre-season fixture, with supporters encouraged to arrive early and enjoy a special matchday experience.

Marquee Fan Village
Rodney Parade will go Italian ahead of kick-off, with a range of activities available in the Marquee Fan Village from 4pm.
Supporters can enjoy:

- Newport City Radio bringing the entertainment
- Roman Centurions around the stadium for photo opportunities

East Stand Lounge Bar
All Newport County season ticket holders will have access to the East Stand Lounge Bar ahead of kick-off.
Simply show your new season ticket card or proof of purchase to gain entry.
Guest speakers Gary Plumley and Steve Lowndes will be joining supporters from 5.30pm to provide entertainment ahead of the match.
Getting to Rodney Parade
By Train
The nearest train station is Newport (Gwent), approximately a 10-minute walk from Rodney Parade.
To walk from Newport Station:
- Exit the station via Platform 1.
- Cross the road and turn left, following the pavement past Delilah's Café.
- Continue past Market Arcade and Popadom's Indian Restaurant.
- Take the staircase on your right through the underpass to Clarence Street Bridge.
- Cross the bridge and turn right onto Rodney Road.
- Rodney Parade is just ahead.
By Car
From the West
Supporters travelling from the west are advised that Malpas Road remains closed from M4 Junction 26 to Harlequin Roundabout, which may result in delays.
Please allow extra travelling time and follow signed diversion routes towards Newport city centre before rejoining the route via Chepstow Road.
Route:
- Take Junction 26 from the M4.
- Follow diversion signs towards Newport city centre.
- Rejoin the route towards Chepstow Road.
- Turn right onto Chepstow Road at the traffic lights.
- Take the first right onto Cedar Road.
- Turn right onto Corporation Road.
- Turn left onto Grafton Road, where Rodney Parade is located on your left.
From the East
Route:
- Exit the M4 at Junction 25a.
- Follow Heidenheim Way.
- Continue across the River Usk via the roundabouts.
- Bear right onto Chepstow Road.
- Take the first right onto Cedar Road.
- Turn right onto Corporation Road.
- Turn left onto Grafton Road for Rodney Parade.
By Bus
Newport Bus operate services across the city on matchdays. Supporters are encouraged to plan their journey in advance.
Arriving at Rodney Parade
Supporters are encouraged to arrive early to ensure a smooth entry into the stadium.
Turnstiles will open approximately 90 minutes before kick-off.
Before Kick-Off

A smaller matchday club shop is also situated next to the Ticket Office at Rodney Parade.
