At the most recent Fan Forum in December, there was some discussion on the 21% of shares in the Club that are not owned by the Huw Jenkins or the Supporters’ Trust.
Some of the owners of those shares have asked how they can donate their shares in the Football Club (Newport Association Football Club Limited) so that they can be used to help increase investment in the Club. The most straightforward and financially beneficial way to do this is to transfer them to the Supporters’ Trust. The alternative is to transfer them back to the Club for cancellation.
Transferring your shares is a straightforward process, especially if you have the original share certificate and it is in your name. If this is not the case, please do not worry as we can help you with what is needed to support the process.
