Newport County is pleased to confirm the continuation of its successful relationship with VX3, with the sportswear brand remaining the club’s official kit and retail partner in a new multi-year agreement.
The extension builds on a record-breaking three-year partnership that has helped reshape the club’s retail offering and deliver some of the most popular and engaging kits in Newport County’s history.
Over the past three seasons, Newport County and VX3 have worked closely to grow the club shop and online retail presence, producing standout designs that have connected strongly with supporters. This includes collaborative kits with local rock icons Skindred and special charity initiatives supporting Motor Neurone Disease awareness in tribute to former player Jason Bowen. VX3’s flexibility and willingness to innovate have played a key role in enabling creative concepts that other suppliers would not support.
The 2025-26 away kit marked a particular highlight, delivering record-breaking sales figures and attracting international attention. The design also created a unique cultural link between Newport and the Basque region, demonstrating the global reach and storytelling power that a football kit can carry.
Newport County Commercial Director Sam Houldsworth said:
“This partnership with VX3 has become a cornerstone of how we connect with our supporters. Over the past three years we have pushed creative boundaries together, delivering kits that truly represent Newport County and the city we are proud to represent.
The record-breaking success of our 2025-26 away kit is a clear example of what can be achieved when innovation, flexibility and supporter identity come together. We are excited to continue building on this relationship as we move into the next phase.”
VX3 Managing Director Ben Lovell said:
“We have thoroughly enjoyed our first three seasons working with Newport County and are delighted to be extending our partnership for a further three years.
The opening of the new store at Friars Walk has significantly elevated the club’s retail offering, providing supporters with an improved shopping experience and greater access to official merchandise. The results have been outstanding, with record retail sales achieved in each season to date.
We are proud of what has been accomplished together so far and look forward to building on that success over the next three seasons, continuing to enhance the retail experience for Newport County supporters and driving further growth for the club.”
Newport County and VX3 will now move forward together into the next phase of the partnership, continuing to deliver kit collections that reflect the identity of the club and its supporters both on and off the pitch.
