Newport County will travel to the South West to take on Torquay United in a pre-season friendly ahead of the 2025-26 Sky Bet League Two campaign.
The fixture will take place at Plainmoor Stadium on Saturday, July 19, with kick-off scheduled for 3pm.

Torquay United, who will be competing in the National League South in 2025-26, promise to offer a competitive test in what should be a strong workout for County. Despite finishing joint top of the league with Truro City, it was goal difference that ultimately denied them automatic promotion. The Gulls then faced Boreham Wood in the play-off semi-finals but fell short, confirming another season in the National League South.
