Here's your Newport County starting XI for this evening's Vertu Trophy opener against Arsenal U21s.
Manager David Hughes makes seven changes to the side that fell to Gillingham on Saturday. Jordan Wright comes in for Nik Tzanev in goal, while Habeeb Ogunneye is the only defender to retain his place. He is joined at the back by James Clarke and Jaden Warner—who makes his first start of the season—alongside Anthony Glennon at left-back.
In midfield, Braybrooke lines up alongside Ciaran Brennan and Ben Lloyd. Up front, Courtney Baker-Richardson leads the line, supported by Bobby Kamwa and Michael Reindorf, who both keep their places on the wings.
