After gaining experience in non-league football, he signed for Swansea City in 2017, where he featured 17 times and scored three goals.

He subsequently spent time on loan at Accrington Stanley and Barrow AFC, gaining valuable Football League experience. In 2021, he joined Barnet FC on loan, making 31 appearances and scoring eight goals, demonstrating his attacking instincts and consistency.

Baker-Richardson first signed for Newport County in 2021, where he became a key figure in the Exiles’ forward line. Following a spell at Crewe Alexandra, where he made 65 appearances and scored 17 goals over two seasons, he returned to Newport County in 2024.

He made his second debut for the club at the start of the 2024–25 season, quickly establishing himself as a key attacking option. Known for his movement, finishing, and ability to stretch defences, Baker-Richardson remains a constant threat in the final third and a key figure in Newport County’s ambitions in League Two.
