Player Biography

Moses Alexander-Walker joined Newport County in July 2023, signing his first professional contract with the club. A dynamic and versatile forward, Moses is known for his pace, technical ability, and flair on the ball.

Born on 27 July 2007, Moses began his footballing journey at Bristol City's academy in 2016. After a period away from the professional game, he rejoined the footballing ranks by signing with Newport County's academy in 2023. Academy manager Luke Hussey, who had previously worked with Moses at Bristol City, played a pivotal role in his development and transition into the first team. 

Moses made his first-team debut for Newport County on 3 May 2025, coming on as a substitute in the 55th minute during a League Two match against Tranmere Rovers. This appearance marked a significant milestone in his young career, showcasing his potential and readiness for senior football.

Throughout the 2024–25 season, Moses impressed with the under-18s, contributing to the team's success and earning his place in the senior squad. His performances were characterised by his direct running, creativity, and ability to make decisive contributions in attacking situations.

As of the 2025–26 season, Moses continues to develop under the guidance of the coaching staff, with aspirations to secure more first-team opportunities and contribute to Newport County's ambitions in League Two.
