Michael Reindorf joined Newport County on a season-long loan from Cardiff City in July 2025, adding depth and versatility to the Exiles' attacking options.

Born on 10 May 2005 in London, England, Reindorf began his footballing journey at West Ham United's academy before moving to Norwich City in 2023. During his time at Norwich, he gained experience through a loan spell at Kettering Town. In July 2024, Reindorf signed with Cardiff City, where he impressed at the under-21 level with a series of strong performances. He also gained League One experience with Bristol Rovers, featuring on four occasions during a loan spell in early 2025.

Reindorf made his professional debut for Cardiff City in the Carabao Cup against Bristol Rovers on 13 August 2024, coming on as a substitute and making an immediate impact with his direct play and pace. He then made his league debut for Cardiff City against Coventry City in November 2024. His performances at Cardiff City's U21 level and his brief stint at Bristol Rovers showcased his potential and readiness for first-team football.

At Newport County, Reindorf is expected to contribute with his physical presence, speed, and ability to stretch defences. His versatility allows him to play across the forward line, providing options for the manager. With a strong desire to make an impact and help the team achieve success, Reindorf is poised to be a valuable asset to Newport County during the 2025–26 season.
