Harri Pugh is a young Welsh midfielder who has progressed through Newport County's academy system and made his first-team breakthrough during the 2025-26 season.

A technically gifted midfielder, Pugh has developed through the club's academy system and earned opportunities to train and feature alongside the first team as he continued his development.

Pugh made his senior Newport County debut on November 11, 2025, coming off the bench during the second half of the EFL Trophy fixture against Exeter City at Rodney Parade. He played the final 18 minutes and was shown a yellow card during his first-team appearance.

The appearance marked an important milestone in Pugh's development and provided his first experience of senior competitive football. He was also included in the first-team matchday squad on a number of occasions during the campaign as he continued to gain experience around the senior group.

Pugh heads into the 2026-27 season looking to build on his first taste of senior football and continue his progression with Newport County. His technical ability and understanding of the game make him an exciting young prospect within the club's squad.
