Players and staff of Newport County AFC visited the Royal Gwent hospital to distribute present on the Children's Ward in time for Christmas
The players and staff of Newport County AFC paid a visit to the Children's Ward at the Royal Gwent Hospital and delivered presents to the kids for Christmas. The gifts were donated by Asda, Pillgwenlly and the Rotary Club, Newport and included selection boxes for everyone, DVDS and toys.In addition to the players, the children on the ward were entertained by Spytty the Dog and the South Wales Argus were in attendance.
The club is hoping to make this a regular event and thanks go to Norman Parselle, County Community Officer for organising the day, Caroline Jones from Asda Pillgwenlly for arranging the presents and all the staff and nurses at the Royal Gwent for making it a successful visit.
