County set to hold open trials for BTEC course
Newport County in the Community are holding an open trial session for players wishing to take part in the BTEC Sport course run in conjunction with Llanwern High School.
The trial will be held on the evening of Wednesday 27th May 2015 on the 3G playing surface at Llanwern High School. The trial is open to boys who are currently in the Year 11 school year, and are set to leave at the end of the term.
Interested players are requested to email community@newport-county.co.uk in advance of the trial match to secure their place.
Players who successfully gain a place on the course will train in a professional football environment, as well as study for a BTEC qualification that gives students a pathway to University and a wide range of sport-related careers.
