COUNTY ACADEMY

In this week's Academy section of the programme, Will Pritchard takes a look at the Under-18's hard-fought 4-2 victory over Plymouth Argyle to complete a league double over the Pilgrims for the first time since joining the Youth Alliance League South.

In this weeks County In The Community page we look at Saturday, November 25, and the the trip to Swindon. 2 Walking Football teams, 2 We Wear the Same Shirt (Mental Health) teams, plus 50 supporters travelled to Swindon for a day of football fun.

TODAY'S THE DAY

Phil Tanner takes a look at a County game that happened on the day. This weekend, when County faced Lincoln City in the Conference Premier, on the 3 December 2011. Old stalwart centre-back Ismail Yakubu was on the scoresheet that day!

In this weeks 'Club News' we look at how Smiths Carpets and Flooring are the first official sponsor of the We Wear the Same Shirt (WWtSS) side as they provide them with brand new T-shirts to wear to games. We also look at what WWtSS is and how it is helping the local Newport community.

The Junior Exiles page returns with more games and activities than ever before.  We also introduce our matchday mascots and grill County'smidfield maestro Robbie Willmott with tough questions like: “What’s your favourite drink?” and “What’s your favourite song?”
