Newport County AFC are delighted to announce the signing of Scottish forward Lewis Jamieson from USL Championship club Sacramento Republic on a contract that runs until summer 2027.
Jamieson, 23, made his breakthrough at then SPL club St Mirren in 2019 - spending just under six seasons with The Saints, making 17 appearances, scoring one goal.
But the Glasgow Port-born wide player enjoyed successful loan spells in Scotland's league tiers stopping off at Clyde [twice], Inverness Caledonian Thistle, Airdrie and Raith Rovers amassing 56 games, blasting 16 goals.
The quicksilver attacker landed in American soccer exactly 12 months ago, firing three goals in 19 matches at the Republic's Heart Health Park, California.
