Newport County AFC would like to thank Shaun MacDonald and wish him every success following his departure from Rodney Parade.
The 29-year-old goalkeeper joined the Exiles as a free agent in October, providing valuable first-team cover alongside Jordan Wright and New Zealand international Nik Tzanev during his time at the club.
Although Shaun did not make a competitive appearance for County, he brought experience, professionalism and strong support within the goalkeeping group. His career to date includes over 100 professional appearances, having previously represented Gateshead, Blyth Spartans, Torquay United, Cheltenham Town and Exeter City.
Everyone at Newport County would like to place on record their thanks to Shaun for his contribution and wish him the very best in the next chapter of his career, both on and off the pitch.
