The Exiles are back on their travels this weekend with a trip to MK Dons, as County continue a demanding run of fixtures on the road.
Brought to you by the Turmeric Co, here’s everything you need to know if you’re making the journey to Stadium MK.
The Stadium
Stadium MK is the largest ground in League Two, boasting a 30,000 capacity. Despite its size, it is rarely filled to capacity, meaning the atmosphere can sometimes feel quieter than expected for a stadium of its scale.
Milton Keynes is well connected, particularly to London, making it a relatively straightforward trip for travelling supporters.
Away Section & Allocation
Away supporters are normally located in the upper tier of the North East Corner.
Away fans usually enter via turnstiles 1, 2 and 3, located behind the North Stand.
By Car
Stadium MK is situated at Denbigh North, just off the A5, south of Central Milton Keynes and north of Bletchley. It sits close to retail parks, IKEA and ASDA, so expect some congestion on matchdays.
For sat nav users, the stadium is on V6 Grafton Street at the junction with H9 Groveway. For coaches follow the brown signs marked “Football Coaches” and enter the stadium via the Saxon Street entrance, located between KFC and McDonald’s. This entrance provides the most direct access to Gate 3.
Official route from M1 (Junction 14)
- Follow signs towards Milton Keynes
- At the second roundabout (Total Garage), turn left onto V11 Tongwell Street
- At the next major roundabout, turn right onto H8 Standing Way (A421)
- At Bleak Hall Roundabout, turn left onto V6 Grafton Street
- At the next roundabout, turn right. The stadium is further down on the left
Alternative routes are available from both the north and south via the A5 and A421.
If you get lost, follow signs for Bletchley or IKEA.
Parking
- Official stadium parking: 2,000 spaces at £7 per vehicle
- Street parking: Available in Denbigh West industrial estate
- Magnet Trade (MK1 1NN): £5 parking, with proceeds donated to charity
Supporters are advised not to park at the nearby ASDA store, as it is patrolled on matchdays and fines may apply.
By Train
Fenny Stratford
Just over one mile from the stadium. Turn right out of the station, then right again onto Watling Street and continue straight. The stadium will appear on your right.
Bletchley Station
Approximately two miles away, served by London Euston and Birmingham New Street. Taxis are limited, so pre-booking is advised. The walk takes around 35 to 40 minutes.
Milton Keynes Central
Around four miles from the ground. A taxi costs approximately £10, and regular bus services operate from outside the station.
Please note that some walking routes include underpasses, which may be less suitable for night fixtures.
Food & Drink
There are limited pubs immediately around the stadium.
Supporters may prefer heading into central Milton Keynes or Bletchley, where most bars welcome away fans.
Inside the stadium, alcohol is available to away supporters.
Safe travels to all Exiles making the trip, and we’ll see you on the road.
