With another away day ahead, here is everything supporters need to know ahead of the trip to Sixfields Stadium.

Away supporters

Newport County supporters are housed in the Persimmon Homes South Stand at Sixfields Stadium.

The South Stand is an allocated seating area, so supporters are asked to sit in the seat shown on their match ticket.

Away supporters enter through the turnstiles located in front of the South Stand.

Getting to Sixfields

Sixfields Stadium is located on Upton Way, approximately two miles from Northampton town centre.

For those travelling by car, the stadium postcode is NN5 5QA.

Supporters travelling from the south can use the M5, M42, M40 and A43 routes, while those travelling from the north can approach via the M1 and follow signs for Northampton and Sixfields.

Please allow additional time for traffic around the stadium and surrounding leisure facilities on matchday.

Parking

Parking is available around the Sixfields complex.

The Northampton Town visiting-supporter information has previously advised supporters to use the north car park, with parking also available at Duston Mill.

The north car park has previously operated at a cost of £5, payable by card, while Duston Mill parking has operated on a cash-only basis.

Supporters are advised to follow signage and steward instructions on arrival, as parking arrangements can vary on matchdays.

By train

Northampton Railway Station is approximately two miles from Sixfields Stadium.

The walk from the station to the stadium takes around 30 minutes, while taxis are also available from outside the station.

There are also regular bus services connecting Northampton town centre and Sixfields.

Food and drink

Sixfields is located within a leisure and retail complex, giving travelling supporters a number of options for food and refreshments before kick-off.

There are also food and drink facilities available inside the stadium, including a dedicated away supporters' bar and matchday food concessions.

Previous visiting-supporter information has also highlighted the Foundrymans Arms as an option for away fans. The pub is located close to Northampton Railway Station, with food available from nearby outlets.

Supporters should check any fixture-specific restrictions before travelling, as pub arrangements can vary.

At the stadium

Northampton Town operate a barcode entry system, so supporters are advised to have their match ticket ready when approaching the turnstiles.

The away concourse offers refreshments and toilet facilities, with supporters' bars and food concessions available once inside the stadium.

Sixfields Stadium

Sixfields Stadium has been the home of Northampton Town since 1994 and has a capacity of more than 8,000.

The stadium is an all-seater venue, with Newport County supporters located behind one of the goals in the South Stand.
