Newport County make the midweek trip to Salford City in League Two on Tuesday night (7.45pm).

Ahead of your trip to Manchester, take a read of our away day guide to help plan your journey.

Where is The Peninsula Stadium?

The Peninsula Stadium,

Moor Lane,

Salford

M7 3PZ

Where will Newport fans be during the game?

Away supporters at the Peninsula Stadium are housed in the East Stand terrace, with a couple of blocks of seating available in the North Stand. Away supporters will need to use Turnstile A to gain access to the ground.

How do I get to the Peninsula Stadium?

The Peninsula Stadium is a long day away from Rodney Parade. We would recommend getting out early to make sure you arrive for the game in decent time before kick-off.

The following are the best ways to make it to the stadium:

Car

The Peninsula Stadium is 184 miles from Rodney Parade. Depending on which stand you are in, there are two approaches to the stadium. Home supporters and hospitality guests in the North Stand should head to Moor Lane, and all away supporters should also head to Moor Lane.

Train

Due to their proximity to Manchester city centre, there are excellent national rail links into Manchester Victoria and Manchester Piccadilly, which both have nearby connections to get you near to The Peninsula Stadium.

Salford Crescent is the closest station, but has no direct connections to the ground.

Can I park near the stadium?

If you are driving to The Peninsula Stadium, they have no on-site parking available for supporters and there are parking restrictions in place on the roads surrounding the ground. These are enforced by Salford City Council.

There are several parking options nearby if you are looking. There is a park-and-ride scheme situated around 1.5km from the stadium.

Away Fanzone

Visiting supporters have a choice of two kiosks in the away fanzone.

The legendary Babs' Café offers a range of food and drink including burgers, hot dogs, chicken nuggest, pies, chips, soup, beer, hot drinks, soft drinks and confectionary.

There is also a kiosk next door that serves San Miguel on draught; bottles of Somersby and Carlsberg; Guinness, wine and spirits in cans; pies; and confectionary.

Please note, the Peninsula Stadium is now a cashless venue, all kiosks accept card payments.
