Newport County AFC can confirm that midfielder Keenan Patten has joined Barry Town on loan until the end of the 2025–26 season.
Patten originally joined Newport County from Barry Town last February and made six appearances for the Exiles during the closing stages of last season. Unfortunately, he suffered an open leg fracture during a pre-season friendly against Bristol City, resulting in a challenging six-month rehabilitation period.
Having now returned to fitness, Patten moves back to Barry Town to gain regular competitive minutes as he continues his comeback. The loan provides an opportunity for him to build match sharpness and regain consistency at a high level.
