Today’s Sky Bet League Two fixture against Tranmere Rovers at Rodney Parade has unfortunately been postponed due to an unplayable pitch.
The referee inspected the surface at 9am this morning and, despite the best efforts of the groundstaff to protect the pitch from frost, it was deemed unplayable.
Given the distance travelled by Tranmere Rovers supporters, the referee decided not to carry out a later inspection and instead made the decision to postpone the fixture.
Details of the rearranged fixture will be communicated as soon as they are confirmed.
All match tickets purchased for this game will remain valid for the rearranged date. Season Tickets will also remain valid for the re-arranged fixture.
