Getting to Rodney Parade
There are many ways to get to Rodney Parade:
By Train
The nearest train station is Newport (Gwent), just a short 10-minute walk from the ground.
- Exit the station via Platform 1.
- Cross the road and turn left, following the pavement as it curves past Delilah’s Café.
- Continue straight past the Market Arcade and Popadom’s Indian Restaurant.
- Take the staircase on your right and go through the underpass, bringing you out at Clarence Street Bridge.
- Cross the bridge and take your first right onto Rodney Road.
Please note, there expected changes to the train timetable today due to planned industrial action. Please check your local network for updated information.
By Car
From the West:
- Take Junction 26 from the M4.
- Take the 3rd exit off the roundabout onto Malpas Road.
- Take the 2nd exit off the next roundabout.
- At the next roundabout, take the 1st exit across the River Usk.
- At the traffic lights, bear right onto Chepstow Road.
- Take the 1st right onto Cedar Road, then the 1st right onto Corporation Road.
- Take the 1st left onto Grafton Road—Rodney Parade is on your left.
From the East:
- Take Junction 25a from the M4.
- Take the 1st exit off the roundabout onto Heidenheim Way.
- Take the 1st exit off the flyover.
- Take the 2nd exit off the roundabout.
- At the next roundabout, take the 1st exit across the River Usk.
- At the traffic lights, bear right onto Chepstow Road.
- Take the 1st right onto Cedar Road, then the 1st right onto Corporation Road.
- Take the 1st left onto Grafton Road—Rodney Parade is on your left.
By Bus
Rodney Parade is close to several bus stops. Plan your journey at www.newportbus.co.uk.
Arriving at Rodney Parade
Supporters are encouraged to arrive early to ensure smooth entry before kick-off at 3:00pm. Turnstiles will open at 2:00pm approximately.
Prior To Kick-Off
Join County in the Community in the marquee before kick-off, where young Exiles can take part in a variety of activities, including:
Table football and other games.
Meet Spytty the Dog and first-team players.
Fans can soak up the pre-match atmosphere with fan-favourite music playing before the action gets underway at Rodney Parade.

There are several public car parks in Newport City Centre within walking distance of Rodney Parade:
Kingsway (Multi-storey) – NP20 1EX (Open until midnight)
Friars Walk Car Park – NP20 1EA (Open 24 hours)
Riverfront Car Park – NP20 1HG
Emlyn Street Parking – NP20 1ES
Clarence Car Park (Multi-storey)
Please note: There is no parking available inside Rodney Parade.
Food & Drink
Food kiosks and burger stands are located in the stadium concourse, serving a range of food and drinks. Please note that all purchases inside the stadium are card-only.
Club Shop
The VX3 Club Shop located in Friars Walk Shopping Centre, will close at 4:30pm.
A smaller club shop is also available next to the Ticket Office at Rodney Parade for matchday shopping. Please be aware this shop can get busy on matchdays.
