Newport County is launching a new twist to our matchday playlist today, with a different musician or person with a strong connection to the club selecting five songs that mean something to them.
And for today's opening home game of the 2026-27 season, there was only one person we could ask to kick things off | Benji Webbe.
The Skindred frontman is a well-known Newport icon and passionate supporter of the club, with his strong connection to Newport County famously represented through our limited-edition Skindred kit during the 2024-25 season.
Now, as County begin another Sky Bet League Two journey at Rodney Parade, Benji has selected five tracks to form the centrepiece of today's matchday playlist.
