Bubble by Airflo

Known for their emotionally resonant songwriting and atmospheric soundscapes, they have been gaining attention for their compelling live performances and evocative recordings. Airflo are a band that have been making waves for a while in the local music scene. The band’s sound they describe as a melting pot of nostalgic and modern influences, with touches of noughties indie comparable to Bloc Party and Coldplay, combined with more current, heavier sounds reminiscent of Chappaqua Wrestling and Wunderhorse.

This single, “Bubble”, has already received airplay from stations such as Radio X, BBC Radio Wales, Newport City Radio and more. They have appeared at festivals such as Rebel Fest 2024 in Newport and the Isle of Wight Festival 2024, as well as venues like The Louisiana in Bristol, which the band recently sold out, and The Moon in Cardiff.

I Don’t Care by The Clause

A Brummie four-piece known for blending the swagger of the 60s, the infectious grooves of the 80s, and the raw energy of the 90s, The Clause have been actively touring, performing sold-out headline shows and supporting acts like James, The Lottery Winners, The Reytons and The Snuts.

In 2023, they played on the main stage of the Isle of Wight Festival, with other festival appearances including Radio 1’s Big Weekend, and they’ve headlined UK tours with sold-out dates, including a major homecoming show in Birmingham.

This is a band poised for even bigger things in 2025 as they continue to push boundaries and gather new fans out on the road. This single, “I Don’t Care”, is taken from their upcoming debut album Victim of a Casual Thing, which is set for release next Friday.

Drunk in Japan by The Kites

This is a young and rising indie-alt/pop band from Leeds, England, who mix punchy guitars, honest lyricism and a keen sense of melody to create songs that feel made for live stages, radio airwaves and Rodney Parade!

Their sound is rooted in indie rock and pop, with energetic guitar riffs, catchy choruses and lyrics that touch on youth, identity and generational experience. Festival appearances include playing on the DORK stage at Live at Leeds: In the Park in 2023, and opening Leeds Festival on the Festival Republic Stage in 2024.

The song expresses a desire to escape, to “get out there, drunk in Japan with you.” It’s not just about being in a foreign place, but being in a foreign place with someone.
