Ross Joyce will be the man in charge when Newport County travel to Accrington Stanley on Tuesday night (7.45pm).
The experienced referee regularly oversees games in both League One and League Two, and is set to officiate his first County match of the season.
The last time Joyce took charge of a County came back in November 2023, a 2-1 away win at Morecambe.
So far this season, Joyce has refereed 23 games across several competitions, producing 93 yellow cards and two reds.
Joining Joyce on the officiating team will be Jack Nield and Ryan Aldred as assistant referees, with Scott Matthew Parry serving as the fourth official.
