Paul Howard will be the man in charge when Newport County host Carlisle United on Tuesday night (7.45pm).
The experienced referee regularly oversees games in both League One and League Two, and is set to officiate his first County match of the season.
The last time Howard took charge of a County came back in December 2022, a 1-1 draw at AFC Wimbledon.
So far this season, Howard has refereed 18 games across several competitions, producing 63 yellow cards and one red.
Joining Howard on the officiating team will be Daniel Flynn and Jack Clench as assistant referees, with Scott Chalkley serving as the fourth official.
