Scott Simpson will be the man in the middle for Newport County's midweek trip to Salford City in League Two.
The established official is a regular at League One and League Two level, and will officiate his second County match of the season.
The last time Simpson took charge of a County game came back in August, when he was referee for our 3-1 victory over Doncaster Rovers at Rodney Parade.
So far this season, Simpson has took charge of 20 fixtures across various competitions, producing 75 yellow cards and two reds.
His officiating team for the evening will be Alex Gray and Paul Newhouse as assistant referees, with Steve Durnall serving as the fourth official.
