Newport County is delighted to confirm the signing of forward Yahya Bamba from Forest Green Rovers.
The 27-year-old arrives at Rodney Parade with a reputation for pace, direct running and versatility across the front line, capable of playing anywhere across the front three.
Bamba joined Forest Green last summer following an impressive spell with Eastbourne Borough, where he scored 11 goals in 50 appearances and established himself as one of the National League South's most exciting attacking players.
Known for his speed, ability to take on defenders and willingness to drive his team up the pitch, Bamba adds another exciting attacking option to Christian Fuchs' squad ahead of the 2026-27 Sky Bet League Two season.
